The owners very helpful and they even took us in their car down to the village to eat and buy groceries and than pick us up. The apt has perfect kitchen and everything you need incl iron and board.. And the view is marvelous ✨️ The location is simply superb.

Small family run stay. Margareth is an amazing host, very welcoming and helpful. She gave us a lot of good tips about the area and cooked all the wonderful breakfasts and dinners (dinner is an extra, to be requested a day in advance). The view from the living room is unreal. The location is convenient for exploring Santo Antao by car, close to all the popular sights.

Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back. Lovely family run hostel/posada with very friendly hosts (good command of English by the daughters, and Spanish-Portuguese by the mother). I had a great dinner and breakfast there, and Gilda makes homemades licours, grogue and jams which are fantastic. The place is also in a small town located in a beautiful scenery. Totally recommended!

If you are looking for an opportunity to get in touch and support a beatiful local community this is the place to be. You will eat (the best!) local food and if you’re willing to, you will be embraced by a whole community that is always smiling and likes a good chat. the breakfast and dinners are plentiful and very very good. You can easily pass on having lunch during the day when you are hiking. the rooms are very confy and you will have all you need. the view and the surroundings are stunning. this is an association created and led by local women. they will arrange the transportation if you ask for it.

Perfect place if you want to visit the nature of Santo Antão, as you’re right in the middle of a beautiful valley with hikes right outside the door and easy transportation to the towns and other hikes. The facilities are perfect and it’s very clean and comfortable.
