I arrived at the Riederalp Mitte cable car station and it was a 2 minute walk to B&B Zurschmitten. My studio apartment was spacious, clean, and looked to be newly renovated, with a good kitchen space with cooktop and microwave. The Coop was close by. The views from the balcony were wonderful, looking over to the mountains on the other side of the valley. I spent a very comfortable 3 nights here, enjoying the walk trails and visiting the viewpoints over Aletsch Glacier. The people I talked to when I checked in and out, and who served breakfast in the restaurant were all very friendly. The price was very good and I would highly recommend a stay here!

Located at an altitude of 2100 metres, Hamilton Lodge & Spa can easily be reached by an eight minutes cable car ride from Blatten bei Naters.

We’re absolutely thrilled with this hotel. It’s a cozy, almost home-like place that offers complete comfort. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, and the views are some of the best we’ve ever seen. The jacuzzi and sauna are top-notch. The restaurant is not only reasonably priced but also delicious, with an amazing staff. This place is, without a doubt, my best discovery of the year — and I’ll definitely be coming back more than once.

The breakfast was delicious. A variety of items to choose from as a buffet style or a freshly made omelette/eggs were also available. A great start to the day and all served with a fresh coffee. Staff were very friendly and we were lucky enough to be able to check in to our room early. Comfortable beds, great shower and a great view from our loft room windows. Highly recommend.

The hosts were amazingly friendly and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The apartment was super original, very interesting features, beautiful surroundings, and there were loads of unexpected extras like the fresh eggs on arrival!

Rob and Janneke couldn't have made us more welcome, thank you. Chalet Esher is a home from home, spacious and stylishly furnished, extremely comfortable beds, brilliant views, plus everything you could possibly need equipment wise. This would be enough, but the added bonus is hosts that go the extra mile and then some more. Try the delicious bakery, and stock up at the local supermarket, both only a couple of minutes drive away. And with easy access to the motorways for the ski resorts, what is not to love!

Berggasthaus Wasenalp has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Brig. The accommodation features a ski pass sales point, as well as ski-to-door access and barbecue facilities.

I absolutely loved how effortlessly reachable this place is—just a 15‑minute walk from Visp train station through a charming little town that feels straight out of a postcard. Our room with two separate beds perfect for friends or family traveling together. The simple, warm décor gave it that “at home” vibe, and our balcony overlooking the garden quickly became my favorite spot. Everything—from the soft, warm lighting to the spotless shower—felt pristinely maintained.
