This is a very special place. Mike the owner says it has a special energy. For us it was a place of peace and harmony with nature. The sunrise over the river, go for a swim, in the morning mist with the sounds of the jungle - unbelievable! In the afternoon the howler monkeys roam the treetops over the small complex. Everything is laid out very sustainably and the fabulous cook spoiled us with local food and a breakfast of our choice. We'll be back - Mike, big hug! An absolutely beautiful property, overlooking farmland and jungle with a view to Xunantunich. Dominic was a wonderful host, so much knowledge and such a lovely man. We had a delicious homemade dinner and breakfast and enjoyed exploring the property. Dominic helped us book a ride to the border and our driver helped us sort a lift from the other side to Tikal. A great one night stay - loved Nabitunich, would definitely return 😊

The hotel is perfect for a romantic or chill jungle getaway. The infinity pool is picturesque and the drinks are freshly made with ingredients from the area. The river offers a great opportunity to chill in the tubes and let yourself be floated downwards. The tours to Xunantunich and the ATM Caves were fantastic. The staff was very friendly! Everything. Melanie, Larry and the team treated us more like family than guests. They organised all our trips and activities, at no extra cost, even after we changed our plans. The location was perfect, like an oasis in the jungle, the pool was fantastic and the room was very tastefully decorated with everything we could need.
