Many thanks to Patrick, a beautiful tranquil apartment. Very close to all amenities and stayed cool inside despite 32 degrees heat. Would definitely recommend to anyone for the most peaceful stay.

The owner was very friendly and accomodating. We were allowed to leave the key in the key box for checkout as we had to leave very very early to get back home in time. He speaks fluent English, which helps a lot because my french is non existent. I felt safe and wish I could stay longer. If I need to sleep over in the area, I'd consider L'Escale again.

We stayed here and when we arrived, my expectations were not high. There are sone tight stairs and the entrance is undergoing some modernisation. However, get into the apartment and WOW! Just excellent. We were cold as we were on motorbikes and it rained most of the day on our trip, but a quick message to the hosts and the heating was on and we got warmer and felt much happier with life. Would recommend
