We pre booked this hotel & restaurant as it was ideally located along our route, and looked about as authentic and traditional as we could find. We were not disappointed at all. Our hosts had very little English and we had very little Serbo/Croat (just the curtesies) so google helped out a lot, in a fun way. We were shown to our rooms on arrival, and even offered a garage for our motorcycle to be secured in. Dinner and breakfast were served to us with freshly baked bread (amazing) in different styles to suit each meal. Whilst having breakfast on the terrace, there was a lamb on the open fire/spit-roast ready for the lunch time, it was just a shame that we weren't staying to taste it!

As for the hosts, they were so friendly, helpful and warm that you could immediately realize how wonderful people they were.

The area is beautiful, Nemanja and his family are wonderful hosts. The house is comfortable, foods are delicious. We are definitely going back. Everything was perfect and we loved our time there.

Among all my trips to the Balkans, the accomodations in Šipovo was the best. It had everything: spacious two-bedroom units with bunk beds, a comfortable heater, a sofa, dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. The water heater worked perfectly, ensuring hot showers during winter. The best part was the view: opening the door or window revealed a river and lush greenery, making it feel like paradise.

This place is like something from a fairytale! I cannot describe how beautiful it is
