We arrived to the hotel a bit late but they were very understanding and our room was ready with no issues. They quickly helped us settle, suggested places we can visit. The room heated up quickly with the ac, the water was very hot. We wanted to have our breakfast at 9:00 and it was all ready and delicious. Thank you for this nice experience. If we ever go back, we'd definetly stay here again.

Very welcoming owners - they treated us so nicely and they made sure we had everything we need. The rooms have an amazing view over Gjirokaster and the castle, it's lovely to sit outside on one of the balconies. Everything is reachable by foot: the castle, the city center, and the famous bridge. If you're staying in Gjirokaster, you won't regret staying at Himalayas! Oh, and the breakfast is delicious!

The host is one of the most welcome person I've ever seen, and her family is lovable. We had a little accident in the city and they provided all the help they could. Gjirokastër is an adorable little town, quiet, welcoming, safe and clean, and this B&B is exactly like the town. The room was quiet and clean, the breakfast good and abundant, in a terrace with beautiful view. Possible to work with the laptop. It's like staying in family, but with the discretion of a private entrance.

The location is amazing, such an incredible location from which to explore Gjirokaster. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and made sure we enjoyed our stay.

Great communication from staff including providing detailed parking instructions prior to our arrival which was much appreciated. Wonderful room overlooking the old city, location is perfect and walking distance to everything Gjirokaster has to offer, there is even a secret doorway to the castle pathway! Special mention must go to staff member Nico who greeted us on arrival, managed the reception desk and the breakfast room and was available via WhatsApp at all times for any other requirements or questions. We especially appreciated the wonderful pool area as it was extremely hot during our stay. We highly recommend this small hotel if you are looking to visit Gjirokaster.
