It was a perfect location, a short and safe walk to Boudhanath Stupa. There was a great variety of foods for the buffet breakfast each morning and it was excellent value. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent service, room, everything was perfect.
So helpful every time we asked for anything. Room was very clean and lots of fresh towels. Room was large and spacious for a hotel room and tastefully decorated.

The location is perfect - just a few steps from the Boudha stupa, in a safe and peaceful area. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with hot water always available. The hotel has their own driver for daily tour at a reasonable price. And they can provide information /suggestion if you prepare trip to other places.

Staff is excellent, location is perfect, room is very clean and comfortable. I can’t find any fault. It’s the best hotel in all Kathmandu. I booked 2 nights, I extend my stay two weeks more. Feels like home. If you have spritual tendencies this hotel is a must stay.

The entire team at Shambaling Hotel contributes to a comfortable and unforgettable stay. This was my second time here and the hotel once again exceeded my expectations. Everything revolves around hospitality of the highest level.
The hotel is situated in a nice quiet area and the garden is also a nice place for a great breakfast.
