The hostel is old but very clean and comfortable. The location is good, just a minute or two walk to the tourist attraction Ganda Temple. Convenience store is also close by. You have to walk a little over 20-30 minutes to get to the center of town, but there is a bus that comes about 10 minutes away, so that is not a problem. The owners are very nice and will help you with tours.

Super value for what is provided. Highly recommended as a place to stay for budget-conscious travellers in UB. Andy is a great host and did his best to accommodate all requests for tours, rooms, etc. The building is just off a main street so not too noisy, but easily walkable. Facilities are basic, but in very good condition. The State Department store is 5-10 minute walk away, and you'll be able to find most of what you might need there. Ended up spending 5 nights here while in UB, and would have stayed longer if possible.

The guesthouse is super cosy. The beds are really comfortable, the shower is hot, and the location is perfect. The owners are friendly and incredibly generous as well—Agge went out of his way to take myself and a friend to the airport. Plus, they let me do laundry for free.

The hostel itself is a model for cleanliness. Every unit is comfortable. The kitchen is superb, it's complete. The staff are so kind and assisting. I was able to do my semi-Gobi tour in DIY because the staff taught me everything, and even assisted me in booking the bus. to and fro. I saved a lot of money. I wrote on the wall!
