We had a pleasant family stay. We enjoyed free drinks in the afternoon and Japanese baths (although it is a small bath area and only has an interior pool).

The hotel and staff were exceptional. They arranged to collect us from the station which was a lovely touch. We were made to feel very welcome in the hotel. The room was lovely and spacious. The onsen was interesting to try. The Japanese breakfast in a private room was very special. Great location too.

Everything about this stay was amazing! The building was previously a museum, so you’ll be experiencing the local culture right in your home. We literally stayed in the old city—just one street away—yet it was a quiet and authentic area. There were nice cafes, restaurants, and a grocery store just around the corner. The house was warm in the winter and tidy. Highly recommend!

The home was beautiful and it had a lovely view over the mountains. It was also very close to the old town and shrines. The bathroom felt like a spa and the kitchen was well equipped with hand made ceramics. It exceeded expectation, a wonderful place!

It’s a single apartment not far from
Morning markets. Fab location. Super comfy bed! It’s two levels so if you can’t do stairs, it’s not a good option as bathroom is downstairs. Loved the poem and artwork on walls. Very beautiful

Excellent and beautiful property. It was bitterly cold when we arrived but the property inside was so welcoming and warm.
It has very nice decor and was impeccably clean and tidy, every creature comfort is accommodated for.
The location is excellent for walking through the wonderful town and easy to walk for meals. Would stay again and highly recommend. One of the best places we stayed in Japan.

Love old building vibe and the location a lot, it's right next to Miyagawa Morning Market, which from the window view of our room, we can see the market directly. The room is very cozy with tatami (and bed with heater) and a small chilling area with table and beanbags. They also sell discount tickets for the closest public bath and provide free toiletries too.
