This place has a soul. It was a pleasure to just be there and relax. It has very nice surroundings.
Kofukan offers a hot spring bath, multi-course Japanese dinners, and Japanese-style rooms with views of Mount Myoko.

Had a prefect one night stay at Kofukan. The place is super cosy and the view from the room is spectacular. Loved getting in our complimentary robes and using the Onsen. Both the public and private onsens are tattoo friendly and it was nice to be able to Onsen with my partner in the super affordable private Onsen session. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Japan so far so be sure to add it.

The location near the ski bus stop was ideal, the breakfast was a perfect start to each day, and the accommodation was spotless. But what truly set this place apart was the heartfelt hospitality of the hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Everything! What an incredible stay! Moomin Papa and Mama spared no effort in ensuring everything was absolutely perfect. Not only was there a convenient shuttle bus stopping right outside Pension Moomin Papa to transport guests to the ski resorts, but whenever the shuttle didn't reach our desired destination, Moomin Papa graciously drove us wherever we needed to be. The private onsen provided a rejuvenating experience after a full day of skiing. Additionally, a delicious Western-style breakfast was provided every morning for only 1000 yen, adding to the exceptional value of our stay

The hotel is very closed to the Tangram ski resort. You may walk to the chairlift. Also, they have shuttle services to the lobby as well, which is very convenient for carrying a lot of ski equipment.
