the staff was very nice and tried hard to be helpful. kept very clean. the location was in a very upscale nook in town and quick to walk to tourist destinations. the bathroom was very chic and bedding very comfortable.

Extremely kind and helpful staff, convenient central location (right next to Nishiki Market, great for getting there early). Washing machine and drying functionality in the room was very useful for the middle of our Japan trip. All around, a lovely stay in Kyoto. Highly recommend!

Room size was suprisingly large for a Japanese hotel room, and the bed was massive. Good location super close to Nishiki Market and main downtown shopping area, while still close walk to public transport (bus, subway) etc. to access other popular areas of Kyoto. Staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, and spoke reasonably good english which was very helpful. Nice quiet lounge with free snacks, tea and even a free traditional japanese matcha drink prepared for us on our first day. Highly Recommend!!!
