My parents both loved the hotel, and said they would stay here again when they visit Kyoto! Hotel facilities were outstanding, and the hotel is right beside a JR station that takes you directly to Kyoto station (just one stop away). Overall pretty centrally located, but a bit far if you mostly want to be in the Higashiyama/Gion area.

The location was perfect! It's a huge plus that the hotel is so close to the station. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the room was big and clean and modern. The beds were very comfy. I liked that we had a common area for family time. Definitely want to come again.

If you are traveling with children, this could be one of the best place to stay in Kyoto. It’s just one station away from the Kyoto Main Station on the JR Line. Next to the hotel there’s an aquarium, a railway museum and a park. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Popular destinations like Arashimaya and Fushi Inari are just a few train stations away. Hotel interior is simplistic yet classy. Public bath area is super clean with area where you can blow dry hair and do make up. Breakfast is of good quality and serving some seasonal dishes. There are family mart and Starbucks attached to the building. You may check your laundry status through the tv in the room. Microwave oven and ice maker are available on each floor. Highly recommended!
