Loved the amazing friendly and helpful staff, who gave us good advice and discussions.
Great location in central Gion in a quiet street but walking distance to almost anything.
Great variety and range of eating places and the river close by and of course as many temples as you need with cool peaceful gardens as well as museums. Nishiki Market is a short bus ride or interesting 20min walk.
The room was beautiful and fully equipped incl a small kitchenette, electric blackout curtains and lots of tech
Breakfasts were copious and varied to suit most tastes, best scrambled egss in Japan.
Amazingly bestiful designer chairs in a little sitting area and free laundry room was an unexpected bonus!

This hotel is amazing. I can't believe they charge so little. The location is great (nearby most of the "Old Tokyo" attractions), the amenities are amazing, and the staff is very helpful.
They have gone out of their way to find suggestions for good nearby restaurants that take walk-ins (hard to find in Japan), which I found to be such a nice touch.
I couldn't recommend this place enough.
