The property is right in the cliffs with beautiful ocean views. Just far enough from the restaurants and shops to be tranquil, but close enough to hop on a tuk-tuk and be there in minutes! Walking distance from the beach (Odayam beach better for swimming than Papansam beach - current very strong here). Friendly staff and GREAT breakfast. Rooms are huge and have beautiful furniture. VERY good value for money. The strip with loads of restaurants and shops were a treat at night. Visit the Janardana Swamy temple - more than 2000 years old! Excellent yoga classes available in the area.

Amazing accomodation. The rooms were really nice, clean and spacious with beautiful bathrooms. Host was also really nice and prepared delicious breakfast for us.

The Guesthouse is very clean, large room with a nice patio and view of the sea. Only 10 minute walking from the north cliff with a lot of restaurant available. There’s a small but nice swimming pool too. The owners were very kind, they helped us for any requests, the taxi and the use of swimming pool extra time. If you want a quiet nice place not far from the north cliff, i suggest 💯 this place.

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! I stayed here on two occasions recently. The bedrooms were excellent, very spacious, both had balconies, air-conditioning. All the comforts necessary in fact. Very courteous, pleasant and friendly staff.

We loved everything about our stay here - so good that we decided to extend our three night booking to include a further three nights 😊 The accommodation was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and peaceful (although just a short walk to the cliff). The host helped us with a making a variety of bookings (train, taxi, great massage). Tea/coffee/filtered water facilities in communal hallway. Feeling of it being very safe and secure. Would definitely recommend!
