Amazing and personal care taken by the host . Loved the stay ❤️. The home stay is walking distance from all the main attractions in Fort Kochi. A very warm and friendly lady runs the place. Easy to talk to with a great sense of humor. We rented a fully furnished apartment and could also sit in the garden just outside our door. Cute cats and all kinds of birds around the garden. She cared for all our needs such as breakfast and went to buy what she didn’t have to make us fruit lassi. We really recommend this charming home stay.

I came here because to search about the history of relationships between India and Japan in 16th century.
Staying Brunton was the best choice,I guess.
The building itself skillfully reproduces the historical design, and the lobby was like a museum or gallery, full of items that let you image about old days.
The lady at the reception provided me with accurate information to make my wishes come true.
What we should also be grateful for was the presence of Mr. Sunny, the hotel-belonging tuk-tuk driver. He guided me in accurate English perfectly.
Thanks to Sunny, I felt as if I were at home during my staying.
About eating, I decided to eat all my meals at one restaurant within the hotel and went there all the time.
The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and all were conversational.
The value of this hotel goes beyond its good facilities and rich food; to me, it was more than just a consulate.

We stayed at Eighth Bastion in Fort Kochi, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff and the hotel’s theme were exceptional – they were always there with a smile, ready to help or answer any questions. An extra bonus was the excellent espresso available in the room, along with a variety of loose-leaf teas. In the afternoons, snacks were offered, and included in our stay was a two-hour tuk-tuk sightseeing tour as well as a heritage morning walk.
I have rarely stayed at a hotel that consistently goes the extra mile to create a memorable experience for its guests. The location is also excellent, right behind the Dutch Cemetery and Sandy Beach, where you can enjoy the sunset within minutes. From there, it’s a pleasant walk along the water to the busier parts of town.
Breakfast here was probably the best we’ve had in India, with plenty of healthy and nutritious options. The restaurant also served very tasty and reasonably priced meals, and any special requests were always happily accommodated.
Eighth Bastion Fort Kochi is our obvious choice whenever we return – and we definitely will!

Location is great, walking distance to everything like tourist spots, beach, shopping, resturants but quiet plcace in Fortnagar.
Big room with shared spcaces, cold water,coffee, tea provided in common area.
The owner is very helpful and friendly, quick response when we ask anythings in the massage box or whatsapp. She arranged our airport transfer, cap for city transfer cities and booked train tickets for us,
