The room was beautifully thought out for every comfort. We had an amazing view from the window. Loved the use of the black and white images of English looking toads, foxes etc. The room was clean and we really appreciated being able to do a load of washing as we had been in Sri Lanka for 3 weeks prior. We just needed clean clothes for a couple of days, so a load of washing was perfect. The bathroom was roomy and spacious too. Also the staff were able to recommend a street to buy art/antiques. Just great.

A wonderful location, spectacular views, and beautifully appointed and comfortable room. Love the water filter to reduce single use plastic! Great initiative. The restaurants were excellent with very generous service. The bar had a brilliant idea with smelling the signature cocktails! Unique and fun! Everything, but most of all is the staff. Everyone I've come in contact with, either in person or over the phone, is so friendly, professional, and helpful. They are truly the asset of this hotel and what keep the guests coming back time and time again. I indicated in the booking that I was there for a weekend of the birthday celebration. The hotel staff decorated the room to give me a lovely surprise when I checked in. They also sent a complimentary birthday cake, with a hand-written card and a lion 🦁 soft toy. These gestures are very thoughtful and made my stay there special and memorable. I really appreciated it.
