I have not stayed in this exact location before. I have been a fan of hotels located in Mayfair or close to Harrods. I decided to have a change. No regrets. One reason is that arrived by train at Euston Station and the hotel is an easy 12-minute walk even with large suitcase. It is located in a street of typical Regency styled houses and is easy to miss because there is no large neon advertising sign in front of the hotel. This reflects the hotel. Effective and efficient service with a smile from room service to the bar. Bar was kept open for those late-night drinkers without any hint from the staff that it is time to go to bed. British museum and convent Garden are an easy 5 and 12 minute walk respectively. Tottenham court road is your nearest tube station. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs with food within 15 minutes of the hotel so there is no need to jump into a taxi. Bed was very comfortable with a turn down service in the evening.
I was pleased that cups and saucers were provided together with a kettle so you could make coffee or tea for yourself.
There was an area where could relax and read the paper. An inner courtyard reflected the location and added to the character of this particular hotel. A doorman was always on watch to help new arrivals with their luggage.
I have stayed in a number of London Hotels over the years. I have now discovered a new one that I happy to place at the top of my list to stay at next time i visit London.

Early in the morning we were greeted by a friendly host who allowed us to enter the room earlier than check in. The room was very clean, the host was always at our service, the studio apartment was quite enough for us three girls. The location is excellent, a quiet neighborhood. There is a large selection for breakfast in the neighborhood.

Really great and quiet place. Even though there are some busy pubs nearby the sound isolation did its job.
Everything was clean, the apartment is quite new and well maintained.
Super easy to get around the most attractions of central London. Good neighbourhood with loads of options for groceries, restaurants and pharmacy.

The Black Lion Pub & Boutique Guesthouse is a perfect little hotel in Kilburn, West Hampton, north-west London. The hospitality was generous and personal and helpful whatever we asked for. To begin with we experienced the neighbourhood as a bit rough, but during our five days stay we became convinced that we could move safely around the clock. Includning a bus stop outside the door, London Overground 200 meters away, and London Underground a 5 minute walk away, we could not ask for any better communications.

Lovely modern clean apartment in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere. Spacious room with absolutely everything one might need. The kitchen was very well equipped to a very high standard. Excellent shower. Light and airy bedroom space with open kitchenette, double floor to ceiling opening windows, very tasteful decor. The whole building felt newly renovated so first impressions are great. The laundry arrangement worked really well. Helpful onsite concierge/cleaner. A very efficient check in, with good security and easy to use door code locks. On London standards, the apartment is good value, with plenty of room, sparkling clean, attractive, very comfortable king bed, and convenient. Would highly recommend. I would definitely stay there again.
