impressive but welcoming lobby. Imitation fireplaces were inviting on a cold day. Well appointed, comfortable rooms with plump beds. Slept very well. Nice tea and biscuits on tray. Breakfast was varied and cooked items very tasty. Was most impressed by gluten-free cornflakes, bread and croissants with a separate toaster. Only place I have ever seen that. Well done - it’s the little bits of consideration that leave the biggest impression.

This hostel is amazing. It was chilled and friendly. Staff were very helpful. I loved the reception, lounge, kitchen combo set up. In the evening there were families and groups of friends playing some of the available board games, or watching TV or reheating food. It was a good atmosphere. The communal shelf in the fridge was a lovely touch. Complimentary tea and coffee and breakfast was appreciated. I would stay here again.
