The accommodation was so spacious and clean. The host was so kind. All home appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, and washing machines were new and had no inconvenience in use. This is a fantastic apartment, really beautifully finished. It has Netflix TV and all rooms are en suite. The complex has a shop, restaurant and swimming pool.
The owner greeted us and moved us in so to speak and spoke good English. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, far removed from the madness of Cairo. There is a mall just up the road where a couple of restaurants can be found.
As usual in Egypt, there are not many establishments serving alcohol. We had to take a taxi to the Airport to Le Meridien hotel to get beer but taxi's are very cheap.
You can also travel further afield within Cairo itself. I would not be averse to staying here longer, and visiting Cairo's attractions from here, even to Giza because it's better to take a bit longer to journey and have a nice place to stay in.
Obviously super convenient for the airport as well, especially if you have an early flight.
