The entire team at the hotel were fantastic. Motaz and all the guys at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming, the cleaning staff very professional and prompt to help with extra requests and Abdel Naser and the kitchen team were always ready to accommodate my dietary needs. The villa itself once belonged to Mohamed Abdelwahab (موسيقار الأجيال) — the legendary Egyptian composer — and I was lucky enough to stay in the Abdelwahab Suite, the very room where he once lived. It’s hard to describe the feeling of being in such a historic space, surrounded by that artistic legacy, yet enjoying all the comfort of a modern, well-maintained property. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless. The staff welcomed me like family — not guests — and Hager in particular was beyond exceptional. She personally upgraded me to a beautiful Nile-view suite, immaculately clean and full of character. Every detail around the villa feels warm and personal: the polished vintage décor, the quiet ambiance, and the genuine hospitality that makes you feel like you belong there, not like a stranger in a hotel. Hager deserves a special mention for her dedication. Every question or request I had, she handled with genuine care and deep attention — from finding a nearby gym to arranging laundry, calling restaurants for reservations, and even discussing my experiences in Cairo’s attractions. She listened, followed up, and always made sure I was getting the best experience possible. Would I stay again? Absolutely — this place truly feels like home.

A lovely, large apartment in a very good, central location. So comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. Lovely hosts. And a shout to the building’s caretaker, a lovely man who opened doors, lifts and always had a smile on his face.

This property is spacious for 4 people, but does ahve capacity for 6 people if using the sofa beds in the lounge. The kitchen is well equipped. The property is unassuming from the outside, but has resident security personnel and we felt safe in the apartment and surrounding area, which has readily available shops for supplies, fruit etc. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance, which overlook the Nile. The building manager (Ahmed) met us on arrival and showed us round the apartment and we were helped by the security man (Ahmed no 2) to transfer our luggage to the apartment using the lift, which does first require using a flight of steps from street level.
