I spent 2 nights alone as a treat to myself. This is the best place to spend time alone (or not ), you can't get bored as you can spend time at the spa or the gym, or sit at the balcony and watch passers by. The staff is nice and discreet. They'll answer any questions and accommodate your needs. Very enjoyable spa and very well equipped gym. The bedding is very comfortable. The room is extremely clean and cozy. The shower is amazing.

We come back to my home town Bern several times a year and have stayed in many different hotels and B&Bs - SONNEN Loft beats them all! Very unique , has the aura of nyc in the 90s. The house is very clean, feels like staying in 5 stars hotel. House is just nice to fit a family of 5 who is looking to take a vacation in bern. A walking distance to the public transport and the city.

The location is fabulous, this was our second stay. Easily accessible from the train station and in the heart of the old town. Even though you stay in one room as a family, there is a rooftop terrace, a large lounge and kitchen/dining area, and a games room, so you are not confined to one space and can cook your own meals. There is coffee available 24/7. The hotel is perfect for any family traveling through Switzerland. I can really recommend it.
