Decorated in natural colours, the elegant rooms at Bushveld Terrace come complete with a flat-screen satellite TV, desk, small refrigerator and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Each unit offers an en suite bathroom and some include a seating area. We stayed in one of the suites, and loved everything about this hotel. The staff were wonderful, the food was very good, the room was large and well-appointed, and we were right next to the park. We travel a lot, and this is one of our favorite hotels of all time. Greatly enjoyed it.

Part of the guest house are also 2 lovely family dogs. The dogs are not coming into the rooms. The concern shown when we were forced to miss our first night.

The lodge is in Marloth park which means you can randomly encounter animals such as zebras and different antelopes at any time, especially during dinner and breakfast. It was absolutely a unique experience to admire animals passing by. The place is family-run and service provided was exceptional. From check in, to breakfast box to room service and delicious food by the chef, you will feel home away from home. If you can, book a safari with in-house safari guide, which was a plus of our stay. The guest house features individually decorated rooms with elegant wooden furniture and tiled floors. Each of the air-conditioned rooms has a cable TV, a DVD player and an electric kettle. This is a beautiful property, in a perfect location if you want to go day trips into the Kruger Park. The host Christine was lovely, and gave us some lovely dinner recommendations in the near. We ate a lovely meal at the hotel one night which was also super and the breakfast which is included kept us full for our days adventure. They offered us a bottle of Champagne and Chocolates as we celebrated a special occasion and we could enjoy it on the balcony while watching the elephants at the river.
