Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Just perfect! Just out in the bush everything was clean and comfortable. The most friendly staff and a good kitchen. Great hiking possibilities as well to enjoy nature. They are building a new restaurant and will turn parts of the old restaurant/bar into rooms. Just hope they keep some parts of the current restaurant for a drink since it has the most beautiful views!

Somerset Stables is set in a lush garden in the quieter part of Graaff-Reinet and offers guests secure parking and free WiFi throughout. Host Reinet was wonderful, made sure we had a booking at the best restaurant in town dinner, and made us the most delicious breakfast the following morning!

ABOUT DIO DELL AMORE Dio Dell'Amore Guest House is situated right on the shores of the Kabeljauws Mouth. Dio Dell Amore is a beautiful property, like an Italian villa in Tuscany. Louise is a wonderful host, friendly and helpful, and full of information about the property and the area. The breakfast is hearty, healthy and delicious! The property has a lot of charm and is beautifully appointed. The gardens are manicured and tastefully laid out. Overall, out short stay at Dio Dell Amore was very enjoyable and relaxing.

Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodation and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve. We enjoyed our stay here. The whole hotel crew is lovely and attentive. Unfortunately we had cold water in the shower but the manager personally took care of it and within 30 minutes the problem was solved. We were also offered another room as an alternative. The manager is very concerned about his guests. Very nice to see something like this and to feel valued as customer!

Situated on the Kowie River bank in Port Alfred. MyPond features an á la carte restaurant, offering South African cuisine with a contemporary twist. The restaurant overlooks the banks of the river. Well kept property with very friendly staff. All the team members gave a personalized touch and were ready to help anytime. Location is also fantastic as its close to the main street.
