Stayed on two occasions ( beginning and end of our trip 5 nights) at this hotel with another couple we were travelling with. It is in a reasonably quiet street a few minutes walk from the centre of old town and close to everything you want. Staff all incredibly helpful and charming. Rooms comfortable, the more expensive ones bigger, Aircon , tons of hot water, great breakfast buffet with optional eggs pancakes etc at no charge. Would definitely recommend to any age group of travellers.

We liked our whole stay at Hanoi Hotel Royal, the receptionist was very good in all aspects, the food was great, the room were clean. Highly recommended, the staff even let as check in so early, we arrived at 7am and he let us check in even our real time booking is 1pm. He even offer us to leave luggage after our check out after he knew that our sleeper bus going to Sapa is at 10pm. Great service!
