This 4-star Downtown Charleston hotel is 3 minutes' walk of Charleston City Market and Waterfront Park. The hotel offers a rooftop pool with mosaic bottom, free WiFi, as well as 2 on-site restaurants.

Grill 225 steakhouse serves fresh seafood with an extensive wine list and dessert menu. The room was large and very well appointed, with comfortable seating, a huge bed, and a nice desk for working. I liked the decor, which gave a sense of heritage to the hotel. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, and the shower was hot and powerful - there was an abundance of towels! I enjoyed the self-service breakfast each morning, and appreciated hot, fresh coffee being available all morning. The hotel has an excellent location, close to the market and a short walk to anywhere in the historical district. During my stay I walked everywhere and only needed to take alternative transport when travelling to and from the airport. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay - the turn down service was very nice.

Overlooking Charleston City Market on Market Street, this historic French Quarter Inn welcomes guests with champagne at check-in and serves a free daily gourmet continental breakfast. Waterfront Park is 450 m away. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. From the excellent and wide range of items available for breakfast, to the afternoon happy hour at 5.30pm where there was a good quality wine plus high quality snacks available, to the evening cookies the overall standard was excellent. Staff were friendly and the room comfortable with plenty of space to unpack. The bathroom was of a good size, with a good shower. Location was great, with many restaurants close by.
