My stay at Venus hotel was excellent. Complimentary breakfast had many choices and was delicious. Room was clean and organized. Sonel at the front desk was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I left my cell phone at checkout area and left the hotel. I was already in the minibus on the way to Denizli. Suddenly, a van pulled up and stopped my minivan. The driver was from Venus hotel and was to return my cell phone. Sonel recognized it was my phone and had the driver chasing after my van to return the phone. I would not be able to continue my trip without the cell phone. I was so touched by the kind act! I did call Sonel thanking him. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Sonel and the driver!

All! extremely courteous staff with a high level of professionalism. Structure with a wonderful location connected to the city of Izmir, which is very clean and tidy thanks to the Municipality services! Thank you Mayor, keep it up! Then hotel services, restaurant, cleaning and breakfast service, at 5 star levels. I will return in the future to visit Pammukkale and Cappadocia. I will return because I was satisfied! The couple who runs this small hotel is so kind and helpful, and the wife is an excellent cook. Our Turkish breakfasts were fantastic! We received good information ahead of time and during our visit via WhatsApp. Beautiful view of the lovely yard and Aegean Sea beyond the neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful. We loved exploring the town of Ayvalik and surrounding area. This family hotel also has a parking space.

We had a very great stay at Bahab guesthouse. Cem and his wife are wonderful hosts, making you easily feel comfortable and relaxed. The room is beautifully furnished, good bed. Nice place to sit outside, in sun or shade. Breakfast was great with home made marmelades, and lovely fried eggs and the Turkish specialities. Cem offers several suggestions for good food (great restaurant with Turkish kitchen in the village, and interesting places in direct or further environment. We planned to stay 2 days but decided to come back for a few more days on this special spot. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful environment: a little village looking over the former sea, in antique times, now totally sanded. From the guesthouse you can make visits to the most beautiful antique places in Western Turkey: Epheses, of course, but also beautiful Milete, on walking distance from the guesthouse: Priene, and also on less than an hour drive, several less well known but well kept secrets from antique times.
