The property is located 300 metres from the clock tower and 12 km from Wat Rong Khun. Chiang Rai Bus Station is only a 5-minute walk away. Chiang Rai International Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Walking distance from the bus station. An older Thai lady who's probably Grandma Kaew in person welcomed us. Room was basic but comfortable. Wifi was good. We stayed on the ground floor next to their room. She allowed us to hang our laundry at the back to dry, and even helped to move them under shelter when we arrived later that evening. Her daughter, I presume, handles a motor rental service underneath the accoms. Their scooters are in excellent condition.

The bed was soft and comfortable. Usually no problem with hot water in the shower. AC worked fine. The location is nice with 7-eleven nearby, and night bazaar a walking distance away.

The hotel was very helpful with finding a driver to take us on a day trip as well as a transfer to Chiang Khong The local bakery and 7eleven are a short walk away The coffee at the bakery was brilliant as was the freshly cooked food.
