U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river. We loved the view from our room on the 11th floor looking directly over the river. The whole design of the room was excellent, we especially loved the bed having a direct view through the window. The room was not big but it was very functional. There was excellent choice of foods at breakfast. We mannaged to find a parking spot on a public parking between the hotel and the river for a low price (free during the night). We would definitely stay here again.

This central Umeå hotel is just 50 metres from the Umeälven River. It provides free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and bar, as well as modern rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. Breakfast was very typical Swedish which I was hoping for, The buffet style gave a choice of something light, something warm and something in-between. The room service was fantastic too! The Locations was perfectly situated with a 2 minute walk to the Centre of town but still extremely quiet. Great way to fell part of the City without the interruptions and easy to get transport to and from.
