Set in Bucharest, the Eco-friendly Orhideea Residence & Spa boasts spacious apartments and suites with free WiFi access and air conditioning, within 5-minutes from the metro station and a 15-minute drive from the city centre. The room I stayed in was clean - that's the main thing. The carpet was replaced, the bedside tables, dishes, chairs and dining table are new (I have something to compare with, I stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time). Special thanks to the staff who cleaned the rooms every day - very neat guys and to the administrators at the reception - issues were resolved promptly.

The hotel and rooms are clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. All staff members are kind, courteous and professional. The breakfast buffet offers a diversity of choices, from fresh fruits and cold cuts, to warm meats, veggies and eggs. Lovely pastries, fresh homemade yogurt, and espresso complete the experience. The in house restaurant also has some nice choices for dinner. We enjoyed some of the spa services, including the sauna and massage. Despite being in the center of downtown Bucharest, it was not noisy in the rooms. Even the public areas like the lobby, bar and dining room felt quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this hotel.
