Amazing breakfast, anything you want you can have!

Restaurant is very good for dinner, ensure you have a table by booking ahead, even if staying there. Excellent restaurants in Guimares as well. The staff were all friendly, kind and attentive. Our 3 nights here with friends were a highlight of our 26 days in Portugal.

The property is 270 metres from Biscainhos Museum and 1.7 km from Braga Municipal Stadium. Amazing large apartment with all you need. A balcony, a seperate living room with a kitchen and a sleeping room with a huge shower. You have a private washing machine inside the apartment. The apartment is right in the center of town, very easy to get anywhere and 10 minutes walk to the central bus station. Very nice staff that met me at the entrance at check in. Cost effective compared to other properties in the same area.

Beautiful windows with a peaceful view of the historic downtown. Quiet location, very close to the river. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was very filling. This was one of my favorite stops along the Camino.

Electric vehicle charging station is available. The most refined elegance ever. Each corner is taken care of, reserving the old and emphasizing it with modern art. The stuff is wonderful and so the people attracted to this kind of elegance are also very nice and kind.

Extras include a desk, bedding, and cleaning products. We only had time to stay in Guimaraes for two nights but we packed a lot of walking and sight seeing into the time we had. The Trovador Guest house operates from a small group of houses in the older part of town near what was the leather tanning area of the city. There are lots of interesting buildings around the area bars, cafes and eateries within easy walking distance. Our room was spotlessly clean and it was evident that the building had recently been restored - very tastefully decorated and furnished. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and they went out of their way to help us find things that we were looking for. A great breakfast was also provided with lots of pasteries, and fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices etc.
