The farm is great for kids: plenty of gorgeous animals.

Host is one of the best I've met, very generous and attentive to her guests! She welcomed us as if we were in our own home and was super flexible. She let us stay in the living room after checkout to do home office, came in to check on us and see if we needed anything. Breakfast was incredible, very complete and tasty 😋 and there are even drinks and snacks available. The house is in the old city centre, close to the beach. You can walk along the coast with the most magnificent views 😍

Baleeira has a restaurant called "Fornaria", serving tasty homemade pizzas, cooked in a wood-burning oven. The "Fornaria" offers stunning views of the bay. Views are exceptional and the grounds very well designed with sheltered spots to relax. Loved the heated outdoor pool which was accessible even in bad weather. Breakfast was very varied and exceptional choice. Restaurant was reasonable for the location and the staff were exceptional.

The guest rooms of Mareta View - Boutique Bed & Breakfast have a turquoise colour scheme and include 24-hour room service. They are equipped with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Rooms are accessible via stairs only. Very convenient location for walking to beaches and restaurants. We stayed in the economy room with bunk beds, which was spacious enough and had its own ensuite bathroom. The room was comfortable and very clean, the common areas (both indoor and outdoors) were a bonus. The breakfast is worth all of the hype, as mentioned in previous reviews. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve had included with accommodation after two weeks in Portugal.
