Located 2 km away from Salalah, Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah is surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The hotel has a large outdoor pool, overlooking the Indian Ocean and the sandy beach.

Crown Plaza features modern rooms with a satellite TV. All the air-conditioned rooms have wooden furniture and a work desk. Each of them has minibar and a coffee maker. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at the Crowne Plaza. Because it was Eid everything in the town was closed and we were unable to do any sightseeing in Salalah so we spent three very relaxing days around the lovely pools. There were also restrictions on the sale of alcohol due to Eid but the hotel managed this graciously and no one was offended or inconvenienced. We could still enjoy sundowners on our balcony looking over the lawns and listening to the sea. This was almost as close to enjoying the sea that we could get to as the beach is closed for swimming by law from May to October which we did not know and this was a disappointment but not the fault of the Crowne Plaza. However, I do think that this should be mentioned at some point in the booking process.The staff were universally very friendly and a particular thank you to the man who cleaned our room (305) which he did to a very high standard. As we were leaving the hotel he came running into the lobby with a pair of my husband's shoes which he had left at the back of the wardrobe. We'd recommend the Corwn Plaza to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a very well appointed hotel.

At the same time, Rasha gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities and all the opportunities available, ensuring we wouldn't miss anything. It was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Rasha, thank you so much for your attentiveness and professionalism! The room cleaning was impeccable. Every time returning from the beach, we found our rooms perfectly tidied. A special thanks to Maruf for his excellent work! The hotel's location is excellent: it has direct access to both the ocean beach and the bay area. The hotel compound is widespread, featuring picturesque canals with charming bridges. Along the shore, there are numerous restaurants offering a variety of delicious cuisines, as well as small souvenir shops. Although the hotel is rated 4 stars, the comfort and services provided easily match a 5-star experience. We would love to return here again!
