Rebuilt in 2014, Quest on Thorndon offers art deco-style apartments with free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests receive free access to the CityFitness gym located next to the property. The apartment was spotless. The staff was helpful. Location was close to the ferry and a major supermarket. The bed was so comfortable and there was no noise from the outside

Originally built in 1882, this charming hotel has been lovingly restored to its former glory and features an elegant restaurant and bar. Each room includes satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Liked it so much we extended our stay. Started out at the Petit Hotel and moved into the Main Hotel after a few nights. Both were fantastic. Went to the restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner and all were great. Really central, we went for a wine tour (bike rentals are half a block away), played a round of golf (5 min drive away).

Set on a large country estate with sweeping gardens and panoramic views of the Wairarapa wine-growing region, Parehua Resort features an open-air bar and fine dining restaurant. We loved the pool and hot tub! Very tidy place and private, too. The continental breakfast was impressive and tasty, with no single use plastics! We were very pleased with this place overall.
