Beautifully appointed cosy room (you can tell the owner is an artist!) with wonderful views out to the lake and mountains. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom which is also well equipped. Walkable into town centre (20mins max), parking also available. Great breakfast.

Lakeside Motel & Apartments Te Anau is 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre. Guests can take a trip to the lovely Milford Sound, which is 90 minutes’ drive away. Queenstown is a 2-hour drive away. The view is excellent, and the balcony is nice though windy and chilly in winter but at least we took nice pictures from the balcony. The wifi is good and the heater worked well. The location is good, nice to walk along the lake and not far from the central city.

Situated in Bluff, 31 km from Rugby Park Stadium, Lands End features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers room service, a tour desk and free WiFi. Some units at the property have a balcony with a sea view. I highly recommend it. I really enjoyed my stay. Excellent Service and Place.

Set in beautiful garden surroundings, this B&B is only 100 metres from the shores of Lake Te Anau. Each room includes cable TV, electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available. Very welcoming owners that offered helpful advice on our plans heading in and out of Te Anau. Great breakfast and the option to use the kitchen facilities.

Situated next to Lake Te Anau, Kingsgate Hotel is within walking distance of the town centre. It offers excellent walking opportunities nearby and free onsite parking. Unlimited free WiFi is included.

The comfortable rooms offer en suite bathrooms and modern facilities. The hotel has a communal lounge with a fireplace. The room was super big, the beds were very comfortable, it is right at lake Te Anau. Walking distance from restaurants and supermarkets

Located in central Invercargill, Ibis Styles Invercargill offers spacious self-contained apartments with free WiFi. The property features free fitness centre access and an in-house movie theatre. It also offers a games room with a billiards table. Stayed overnight only but it was really clean and comfortable.and central. I wish I had stayed another day to explore Invercargil.
