I love everything about the place. It is very elegantly furnished and clean. Location is peaceful and very near to places if interest and restaurants. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

The proximity to the airport is a plus, as well as the complimentary shuttle service - even in the middle of the night. Our spacious room surpirised us positively. Breakfast was good and abundant. We had no problems with any airplane noise.

Everything about our stay at the Hamptons was thoroughly enjoyable. The property is ideally situated on the waterfront and a short walk into town. The room was well equipped and spotlessly clean with a beautiful area to sit out the front and enjoy the views. The highlight was the fabulous breakfast and Patrick and Mary-Claire who were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend the Hamptons to anyone spending time in Kaikoura.

Friendly staff, comfortable room w kitchenette. Spotlessly clean, even the grout in the shower, which is grubby in most other places. Walking distance to the hot pools, shops, and restaurants. Lots of lovely touches, like Band-aids, a hot water bottle, and an umbrella.
