The host even provided free canned drinks. The breakfast was also very good.

The harbour is only 10 minutes away by foot. The location of the hotel was very convenient just a 5-minute walk from the World Forum, where my conference took place. It’s also within walking distance of the fishing port, which has plenty of small restaurants, as well as the beach. The hotel is situated right opposite the tram station and close to shops and restaurants, yet the area is very quiet. My room overlooked the back garden (patio) and was exceptionally peaceful. The walls are thick, so you can’t hear your neighbours, and the ceilings are very high. The room was spotless, warm, and had a splendid bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast, served in the café next door, was delightful both the food and the atmosphere. The owner of the hotel is a charming and very helpful gentleman. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to relax and slow down.

I was also sent home with a box of stewed plums. Luxurious bedding and ample furniture in my room. Plenty of room to spread out and hang things. Delightful stay.
