The bathroom had a lovely shower with one wall cut out into a grotto and everything was beautifully appointed in a neo- classical style with ample communal galleries and seating. The grounds were graced with several mature fruit trees and the old stone church next door was a special bonus.

Featuring an outdoor pool and set next to Francisco Cantón Park, Hotel Mesón del Marqués is set in a Colonial 17-century house. Surrounded by attractive gardens, it offers an à la carte restaurant and free parking. Very attentive staff, nice pool with affordable drinks. Location simply beautiful, especially the restaurant area. It feels a little bit like being in a movie.
