Dar Bensouda’s rooms combine the traditional architecture of the original palace with modern comforts. The rooms and suites are arranged around the fountain courtyard. They are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom. The suites have a bathtub and sitting room. We had a great experience! We were warmly welcomed by Dar Bensouda staff, even though I came at a ridiculous hour of 5am. The hotel is built inside a 16th century buidling — the ceilings and the decor are amazing, and the room stays cool during the day even without an AC. And it was nice to chill by the pool after the heat of the streets outside.

Excursions in the area and transfers can be organised, with an additional cost. The accommodation was perfect, we really like it. The hotel manager/receptionist was caring and always keen to help. He found us a restaurant for the dinner and even accompanied us there. Also he called a taxi, printed boarding passes and prepared breakfast to go for us at 3AM and made sure we felt safe.

In the historical part of Fes, Riad Braya features an indoor swimming pool in the patio, a seating area, a courtyard with Italian marble and Moroccan zellige tiles. It has a terrace with mountain views. The atmosphere and architecture were absolutely stunning. It's a wonderful place with exceptional staff. A special thanks to Anas. Despite our late check-in at night, he warmly welcomed us with Moroccan tea and traditional sweets and kindly assisted us with our luggage. Truly outstanding service. Highly recommended. 5/5 🌟

Set within Fes Medina, Dar Attajalli offers traditional Moroccan décor, a rooftop terrace with views of the Medina and a fountain. The spice, antique and perfume Bazaar is only a 3-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi access is provided. Staff were excellent. They arranged a English speaking guide for me and guide was excellent as well. For first time travelers staying in the Medina, get a guide for half a day. They show you all main parts of the Medina without getting lost, getting lost is part of the experience but to get most out your time. This isn't about Dar Attajalli itself but the experience of staying in the Medina. Due the Median having very narrow streets, cars can't drive to the Riad directly. Taxi takes you as close as possible to the Riad, from there a Porter in a buggy with take you and your luggage to the Riad. Since I had just arrived in Morocco, I didn't have small change, the staff paid the Porter and upon leaving when I tried to pay back, the staff didn't accept the fee for the Porter. A continental breakfast is prepared every morning and can be enjoyed on the terrace. Lovely Riad in the middle of the Medina. Food is excellent definitely worth eating at least one meal at the Road.

I can’t thank Mr Haddou enough for his warm hospitality and cheerful demeanor. Also, the manager Mr Noureddine was also very helpful and accommodating.
