The house itself and the surrounding area are very tidy , beautiful and clean. The owner, his family, and the assistant are friendly and pleasant people. There are tables and chairs on the premises, perfect for relaxing. There's also a shared living room where we had interesting conversations with the owner. Additionally, we were taught how to cook jackfruit and banana flower. After cooking, we enjoyed a communal dinner. The breakfasts are fresh and delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything necessary provided. It’s convenient for both short stays and longer-term visits. Thank you for the hospitality. This elegant property is 2.8 km from Galle Light house, 2.9 km from the historical Galle Fort and 3.1 km from Dutch Church Galle. The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️

It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. The best place we have stayed during our travels throughout the world. Beautiful and comfortable room with own terrace, nice pool, lovely breakfast and attentive staff. Own part of a beach area with hammocks and beach chairs (the actual beach is not private, but only used by a few). Highly recommended

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away).

Dunes has 10 garden-view ac rooms and a 2 bed room ac cottage in its peaceful and tranquil setting. It's a really nice property with great staff and great service. It's relaxing to have a place like this out from the madness of the local town. Good food, too.

Private bathrooms provide a hot and cold shower. Nice little boutique hotel tucked at the far end of Hikkaduwa beach, away from the hustle and bustle from the main part. Despite this, the hotel is surrounded by great little restaurants (not to mention its own restaurant). We had a very relaxing time thanks to the great service and chilled out atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing time on the beach.
