• It is located just 1 km from the famous Ceylon Tea Museum and it’s a 10 minutes’ drive away from the popular Temple of Tooth Relic including Bogambara Stadium, Kandy railway station and Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided as well. The staff was incredibly helpful after my friend had an injury hiking. Most appreciative of their attentiveness.

Located in the heart of Kandy City, Villa 49 is 1 km from the famous Temple of Tooth. Its restaurant serves local and Western dishes. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. A cable TV is available in the lobby. An excellent stay at Villa 49. The owner, Shenani was so accommodating and happy to help us with planning our itinerary. Her cooking is also delicious! I highly recommend Villa 49 to anyone travelling to Kandy.

Located just 2.5 km from the holy Sri Dalada Maligawa, Sky Pavilion offers contemporary accommodation overlooking Mahaweli River, the mountains and lush greenery. It provides free Wi-Fi access throughout the property. Staff looked after us really well. Loved the hotel tuk tuk and Kandy Tours - with Austin. Definitely use this as more reliable and better than other tuk tuk. Continental breakfast was good. Chef makes delicious Sri Lankan food! This was in a great central location.

Air-conditioned guestrooms offer views of the garden. Each room is equipped with a minibar, tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Pool, food, staff. Nice to get that view of Sigiriya right from pool. Rooms face out to different courtyards w amazing old trees.

A garden view, air conditioning, and an en suite with a rain-style shower or a bath are standard in all rooms. Dambulla Rock Arch extras include a desk, bed linen, and towels. What a marvelous find! Utterly charming accommodation just off the main road, but open to farmland at the back and surrounded by a lovely garden. You would never guess you are in the centre of a busy town. The rooms are probably the best we stayed in during our trip (including much more expensive hotels). Lovely comfortable bed with mosquito net tent. There is a separate kitchen area with a small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee supplies and plates and cutlery. There is also a space with a luggage rack and place to hang clothes. The bathroom is large with premium fittings and hot water. There is a nice terrace with chairs out front and even a little yard at the back with a washing line. The breakfast area is so lovely, partially open with a fish pond. And the breakfast was superb. Beautifully home cooked Sri Lankan food, with European options too. The family are very sweet and helpful and arranged a tour to Sigiriya, followed by an elephant safari at Minneriya. Absolutely wonderful. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place.
