Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. Nicely decorated in a traditional Japanese style the building and the bedroom are very cosy. The staff is very kind and always ready to help.

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. It features a French restaurant and stylish bars, and free WiFi is offered throughout. Its entrance is right next to the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station. Is an iconic building with so much history. The atrium is a beautiful place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast with attentive and caring staff.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. I liked the location. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Enjoyed having drinks at Hoppy Street and strolling along the Sumida River Walk.

Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi is available at all areas. Public parking space is available on site at an additional charge. Great location, close to 3 different metro stations (there is a direct line to Narita airport), a lot of cafes / restaurants in the area, convenient shops like 711, Family Markt. Also very close to Tokyo tower and it was nice to see it nice and bright every evening. Hotel room was a good size, breakfast was nice and big.

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. It features free WiFi and a restaurant. Employees are so nice and professional, really a good experience.

Opened in August 2014 after a thorough renovation, Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten has been offering heartfelt hospitality for more than a century. Its sophisticated guest rooms feature modern facilities and traditional Japanese aesthetics. It is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Shin-Ochanomizu Subway Station. The size of the room is amazing for Tokyo. From the tetami mats to the super bathroom, it makes you feel like you are visiting a traditional Ryokan. The front desk is super helpful. They were able to help arrange last minute restaurant reservations. A 10 all round. Location is super. Not crowded, loads of restaurant options and only 15 minutes walk to Akihabara, Imperial Palace

A lounge is reserved exclusively for suite room guests to enjoy a light meal service and terrace seating. The elegant interior is designed with respect to culture and tradition suitable for being left to future generations. In the middle of Tokyo, feel the breath of each season as you experience a moment of relaxation. It has a very nice atmosphere if you like classic design. A bit too Western but beautiful. The Gardens are spectacular. Make sure you see the Silk Clouds and Tokyo Moon show. I recommend experiencing it both in the evening and during the day. Nice spa, although onsen has only one pool. Very clean.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel offers Japanese-style accommodation with a free private bath and free internet. This traditional ryokan in the heart of Asakusa is the perfect place to start your trip in Japan. The place looked gorgeous inside and outside and the staff members were super kind and helpful! The tatami flooring is amazing and I really loved the futon as well, but to be honest getting a yukata was just the best of them all :) The staff also offered some candies and free drinks as well as the private onsen experience you can reserve, but unfortunately I couldn't try that this time. Still thank you so much for the amazing stay! I would most definitely stay here again and hopefully try the onsen next time :D

Private parking is available at an additional charge. Nearby attractions include Rikugien Garden, a 20-minute walk away. The location is near the train station but away from crowded tourist areas. There are a lot of convenience stores, restos and local shops The room is comfortable with amenities for 1 person. It might be too tight for 2 persons wifh luggage The toilet and bath space is spacious and clean The check in and check out process is easy and efficient There is no daily housekeeping instead basic amenities are given everyday There are coin laudry microwave vending machine and ironing board available for use The onsen was great The TV system was also a great way to.monitor your stay and various activities in the hotel

Open from December 2015, Hotel Risveglio Akasaka is located just a 2-minute walk from Akasaka Mitsuke Station on the Marunouchi Line. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property and there is a restaurant on-site. It was amazing, I wished that I could stay longer. Unfortunately I had to change the dates of my stay and the hotel wasn't available so I stayed only 1 night. The reception is 24h and they are very helpful. The room is a good size for Tokyo standards with a very comfortable bed. It looks modern , new and chic. Location was great, right next to akasaka mitsue train station, from where you can access most places. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Tokyo.
