Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. Very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. We had the traditional room which was very ample and comfortable. We enjoyed having the possibility to have breakfast (with different great options). Personal speak perfect English and are very helpful in answering our questions

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. It features a French restaurant and stylish bars, and free WiFi is offered throughout. Its entrance is right next to the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station. Nothing can beat the central location, room allocated is quiet despite being in a train station and is bigger than the pictures. Breakfast buffet spread was superb, both Japanese and Western.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. This is a great ryokan to stay that's right in the center of Asakusa tourist area, suprisingly quiet despite the location and just a few minutes walk from the hub-bub of Senso-Ji and its environs. The place has a lovely vibe even though they've been operating for 80 years, you could tell they take great effort in maintaining it well. The staff's extremely lovely and professional, very helpful. The baths on 6th floor look wonderful (though we didn't have the time to enjoy it and just took a peek). Also, you can understand the cultural tidbits of your room and Japanese practices in an easy-to-read pamphlet and the information guide in your room, nice touch! Recommend the non-Western rooms if you can afford it.

Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi is available at all areas. Public parking space is available on site at an additional charge. Great location, close to 3 different metro stations (there is a direct line to Narita airport), a lot of cafes / restaurants in the area, convenient shops like 711, Family Markt. Also very close to Tokyo tower and it was nice to see it nice and bright every evening. Hotel room was a good size, breakfast was nice and big.

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. It features free WiFi and a restaurant. Location: train station across the street, hotel right over a grocery store, safe area, right beside the mall and Skytree Staff: so helpful and friendly Restaurant on site, laundry, toiletries in lobby

It was one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel offers Japanese-style accommodation with a free private bath and free internet. Bath, good air con, reasonably sized room. Super friendly staff who offered to take a photo of me in front of the skytree.

Set in Tokyo, just a minute walk from JR Sugamo Station's A4 Exit, APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae features a public bath and compact yet functional rooms with free WiFi access. Private parking is available at an additional charge. Nearby attractions include Rikugien Garden, a 20-minute walk away. Many restaurants nearby although Sugamo is a small part of Tokyo. Hotel is very near train station 1-2 mins walk and only few stops to Nippori to take skyliner to Narita airport. Onsen on top floor to relax after a long day of walking.
