We had access to the lounge were they were serving dinner and drinks and they have both private and public onsen. The view to the lake from the room is amazing.

Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. Lovely hotel with stunning view of Mt Fuji over the lake. Even when Mt Fuji was hiding there was still the lake view. We had French dinner the first night and beef shabu-shabu the second. Wonderful dinners. Would definitely recommend the hotel and dinners.

Our rooms are designed with traditional Japanese aesthetics, featuring tatami mat flooring throughout. For those who prefer a futon on tatami or a bed, we also offer Japanese-Western style rooms. The warm ambiance is further enhanced by local artists' paintings adorning the walls. We went as a group and we loved the ryokan. It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. The rooms were the most spacious we stayed in throughout Japan, and the staff were all very kind. I would definitely stay here again.

The hosts did a lot to accommodate us and gave a very good service. We received some tea on arrival and some nice gifts upon departure and during our stay we could taste local sake and plum wine.

It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. All the staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant. The dinner and breakfast were beyond expectations. The heated bathroom flooring was a very nice touch.
