The hotel is a combination of a palace and a convent that were seamlessly connected and renovated into a beautiful hotel. The room was modern and very clean, and the breakfast that was served in an upper floor had an amazing view and the ability to enjoy breakfast outdoors if you would like. There were so many Delicious choices, including eggs, meats, breads, yogurt, fruit, juices, and different types of coffees made when you ask, all of the staff was super helpful and super kind, including Sophia at the front desk and at breakfast!

It was really a surprise to find last minute, in a small town, a big and beautifully decorated B&B and room in a beautiful and sophisticated, classy style. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in in a month of traveling and staying in all types of accommodation from airbnbs to 4 and 5 star hotels. The bathroom was huge as was the shower - which my husband loved, since he usually has to squeeze into the typical tiny ones found throughout Italy. Breakfast was brought to your room. Hot cappuccino (our preference but you have choices), warm fresh assorted baked goods, jams, fresh fruit, cereal. Best of all though, was the fact that we arrived at the bus stop and because there were no taxis Clitizia picked us up with her car because we had many and heavy suitcases. Her English was very good and she was so very happy to help. A young mother, she’s a busy lady but took the time to make sure we were comfortable and our needs were met. FYI, Comiso is a great spot to stop if you are visiting some vineyards and don’t have a car. You can access taxis and guides to take you to vineyards that are very close by and get transport in and out via regional train and bus. Though it was only one night, we enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Although shops and restaurants in the immediate area are closed during the off-season, you can easily get to Taormina by bus, which stops very close to the apartment. We were surprised by the great hospitality of the host, with whom we had great contact :-) Thank you for the delicious breakfast.
