A historic hotel in the heart of Siena, Palazzo Ravizza offers elegant rooms with characteristic 1920s furnishings. This family-run property is just 700 metres from Piazza del Campo. Palazzo Ravizza sits on the edge of one of Siena's steep hills, with a spectacular view over the countryside. Once many years ago I woke up early and saw a full moon rising over the valley. Not this time, but the fall colors were just as magical in their own way, and the room was positively luxurious. A beautiful private garden. The staff is exceptionally helpful and kindhearted.

Check-in was extremely quick and easy. The staff were extremely knowledgeable on the area and provided a map with proposed itineraries with QR codes describing them in greater detail. They also recommended some lesser-known local sites worth visiting during our stay. The breakfast was phenomenal, with various pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruits, juices, and yogurt. There was more, but overall the freshness and quality were top notch. We had dinner at their restaurant every night, which gave us a wide variety of local tastes. Honestly, we tried 80% of the menu and everything was great! This is a great spot to relax outside the city, but still close enough for day trips anywhere in Tuscany.

Only 150 metres from the centre of Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Piccolo Hotel La Valle offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Val D'Orcia valley, where you can enjoy breakfast. Everything was simply “wow”! The hosts were incredibly kind, they waited for us even though we were late for check-in due to traffic. The location is perfect. It’s right on the edge of Pienza, which gave us privacy and the peace and quiet we were looking for during our vacation. The most important thing for us was cleanliness, and this place exceeded all expectations. Everything was spotless, and the cleaning staff came every single day. Breakfast was also excellent and we truly appreciated that they offered plant-based milk, not just the regular one. We’re leaving with the most beautiful memories and truly hope to come back soon 🤗

Borgo Grondaie is a large property built out of an old Tuscan farm, just 2 km from the historical centre of Siena. Clean and big space for couple. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast in room delightful.
