Villa Pamphili is a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful hotel with fab spa. Nicest spa hotel we have stayed in. 2 pools, saunas, steam rooms and just a fantastic chill atmosphere!! Easiest way from airport was by taxi. Public transport was to first go into city and then travel out. Hotel is located about 30 minute drive from city centre, but lovely and relaxing after a busy day sight seeing. Taxi from hotel about €20. Also hotel shuttle buses a few times a day at an additional charge. We also used the tram, which was about 10 minute walk (not the best maintained footpath!). Tram goes right into centre of city. Breakfast was continental style - loads to choose - breads, pastries, yogurts, fruit, coffee and juices. Also small hot selection. Room was a great size and really comfortable. Hotel staff were so helpful and pleasant and professional. Didn't eat on hotel, apart breakfast. We discovered a little restaurant https://trattoriadacesare.it/ - just past the tram stop. Excellent Italian food - with mostly local customers. Need to book in advance!!

Set on 1 of the upper floors of a historic building in Rome's Monti district, Princeps Boutique Hotel offers stylish soundproofed rooms with marble bathrooms and free WiFi. The property is directly opposite the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Location, everything is new, excellent breakfast, good value for money. Free coffee, water and free mini bar were a nice touch. Really, a positive suprise, walking distance from Termini.

They went out of their way to be helpful and accomodating. We loved the cozy setting and the decor of the lobby and the breakfast area; lots of interesting paintings and furnishings. Breakfast was beautifully set up and and there was a lot of variety to choose from. The hotel was situated in the Jewish Ghetto, easy walking distance to all of Rome's historical sites

Termini Train Station is a 10-minute walk away. Great location, close to the railway station but felt safe and nice. The building itself is very nice, old style but in good shape, it adds to the romantic feeling of being in Rome. The metro station is just across the street and all the main attractions are reachable on foot. Breakfast is amazing, the staff is very pleasant, helped us in finding our way around the city, we could leave our bags after check-out. Fully recommended.

Across the road from Campo de' Fiori, Navona Queen Rooftop is in a 19th century building and offers a panoramic terrace with a hot tub overlooking Rome, Castel Sant'Angelo and the Gianicolo hill. You can walk to Piazza Navona in 5 minutes. Rooftop amazing. But the whole ambiance of the hotel is warm and comfortable. Good location for cultural visits.
