Relais Casali della Cisterna is set in two 19th-century building surrounded by a private park overlooking Lake Maggiore. We were very well received. The situation overlooking the Maggiore lake is exceptional. The breakfast is varied and they are always looking to please us. Also, the hotel is five minutes drive from the boat to Borromeo islands.

Hotel Royal is a family-run hotel located in a quiet area near Lake Maggiore, offering views of Borromeo Bay and the Alps. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Very comfortable room, spotlessly clean and pleasant balcony. Amazing shower. Very useful to have a small fridge as the weather was hot. Excellent breakfast and a good restaurant for the evening meal. Staff were always helpful and charming. Really enjoyed the apéros on the terrace; barman was friendly and attentive.
