The 16 acre Taj Green Cove, our resort in Kovalam, has a kilometre of coastline, Balinese style villas nestled on a hillock overlooking the Ocean with a lagoon in between. The entire staff right from the Reception, in particular James to housekeeping, to engineering to the buggy driver, to the hostess to bell boy were extremely courteous, proactive and went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. Hospitality at its best! The breakfast spread and quality of food was awesome. Kudos to Sous Chef Harish Rawat and his team The entire property is so picturesque and well maintained. A great place to unwind and bask in the beauty of nature.

Wherever you go, staff and management engage with you to ensure your stay is as good as it can be. In the restaurant, the chef and waiters gave us personal attention to help us with gluten-free food options and went out of their way to provide fresh and off-menu options. In between they took time to chat to us about our travels and explained the food and culture of Kerala. The room staff left us special messages that made us feel at home. Chef Peter kept an eye out for us in the restaurant, he always came over, explained the food options, and even made us special treats. We ended up sharing recipes! Special mention must go to Nandita Kumar as the guest relations officer. Nandita and the front desk staff helped us with so much. From tourism attractions & transport to getting an acclaimed Henna artist to apply her trade in our rooms. She was always looking out for us and went out of her way to come and check on us. She was super helpful showing real interest in our vacation needs. It felt like we had a friend on the staff who was helping us in ways that made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel. All in all we felt very special and we experienced full-on Indian hospitality in line with the saying 'Guest is like God' - Atithi Devo Bhava. All of this comes at very reasonable prices, in a convenient location and great facilities.
