The breakfast was superb - so much selection and ability to order as many additional as you like. Upon arrival, I misunderstood the bed type I had booked and not only could they accommodate the bed request last minute but upgraded us for free as well. Talk about quality service!!

We felt comfortable and safe and staff was very very kind with us. The room and common spaces were clean and decorated with great taste. Breakfast was delicious - we went for the Indian options, aloo paratha and poha and we loved them. Moreover, we were shown how to cook paratha! I’ve been in Delhi 3 times and this was definitely the best! My room was also extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was splendid . The owner of the property and team also gave me great tips for restaurants and markets. I really felt home!

Located in a safe and quiet area, with clean and modern rooms, comfy beds, and really lovely staff that went out of their way to help you. We stayed at a Mariott Courtyard just before coming here and I would say the Colonel's Retreat staff were significantly more considerate and ready to help. There were little details throughout our stay that made one think that the Colonel's Retreat really cared about their guests - small dark chocolates to welcome you to your room, home made multi-grain bread, banana bread and marmalades at breakfast, and non-intrusive asking if there was anything to make our stay better. My favourite stay in Delhi so far!
