In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. Such a comfortable room, loved the pool, loved the breakfast and all the staff were very helpful abd friendly. It was just the type of stay that we needed after a few stressful days of travelling in a foreign country.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Lesley was wonderful at the reception. The hotel restaurant was the best meal in our two week holiday.

Next to Mullingar Train Station, The Newbury has free super-fast WiFi, free parking and a bar that serves good food. They accepted our booking the night of! Room was clean and had a surprise twin bed. Walkable distance to down town, free parking but quiet at night.
